PATH19 is a celebration of maths and teaching. It brings together education’s most forward thinking advocates and practitioners of change with the Maths Pathway community to exchange ideas about maths teaching and learning.
Over two jam-packed days, you’ll be inspired by keynote speakers, connect with colleagues, get involved in workshops, brainstorm new teaching practices and collaborate to continue to change the face of education!

Once you've started Maths Pathway at your school, how do you improve it, grow it, make it better and stop it from fading away when key people leave? Whether you're an experienced Maths Pathway veteran or a complete novice, you will leave this presentation with a concrete understanding of what will work, why it will work, and what mistakes to avoid in a case study across two separate schools. I've launched Maths Pathway twice from scratch at two large contrasting secondary communities: high and low SES; high and low proportion of EAL; high and low intrinsic motivation and high and low openness to change. I have also strategically grown and expanded the program every single year - increasing the number of students, doubling the number of staff, more than doubling the number of students & classes.
